MAKE YOUR SELECTION WISELY

Choose artificial blooms and foliage that complement each other, with soft tones and high quality finishes. Our collection are hand painted to ensure they look perfectly natural, and they all work together so you can pick whichever take your fancy, confident that they will look gorgeous. Opt for odd numbers of blooms, as this is more pleasing to the eye.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT VASE FOR ARTIFICIAL FLOWERS

A narrow-necked vase is the easiest choice, as the flowers will have more support, helping them to stand tall and create an impactful display.

Opt for a vase that matches your home décor – for example, if you’re looking for something elegant, our Prague Crystal Vase is ideal, or if you love the country classic style, our Rustic Handle Jug will fit in perfectly.

DON’T FORGET YOUR GREENS

Foliage is an essential part of any flower arrangement. It provides structure and a backdrop that enhances the beauty of the blooms. Our stunning eucalyptus stems are the perfect choice – whether you opt for our large leafed Jumbo Eucalyptus or our bushy original Eucalyptus, you simply can’t go wrong. Three stems of our artificial foliage is plenty for any display.

OPEN OUT YOUR STEMS

When you purchase artificial flowers and foliage, they will be compressed – this is to protect them during shipping and make them take up less room. Wire inside the stems will allow you to gently bend and splay them until they look just how you want them to.

PLAN YOUR ARRANGEMENT – A SINGLE SIDED DISPLAY

If your blooms are going to be in front of a wall, such as on a shelf or in a corner, then you can create a two-dimensional display. Start by lying your foliage down on a flat surface, and arrange them so that the leaves create an attractive display – not too uneven, but not symmetrical either. Then add your flowers, one by one, following the same rule. It might take a while to get there – but this is why you’re starting on the flat surface, so you can easily move the stems around until you find an arrangement that pleases you! We think our Jumbo Eucalyptus is ideal for this kind of display, because the boldly beautiful silhouette of the deep green leaves creates a wonderful backdrop for any of our blooms.

PLAN YOUR ARRANGEMENT – A CENTREPIECE DISPLAY

If you want your bouquet to be a centrepiece, viewed from all angles, you’ll need to create a three-dimensional display. Begin by standing in front of a mirror, so you can see as many angles as possible. Hold one foliage stem in your hand, then visualise a triangle around it. Add one flower at each point of your imaginary triangle. Then, pick up another foliage stem, and place it between two of the flowers. Add the next stem in the same way, and then pull the original foliage stem outwards, so that it fills the remaining gap. At every stage, check the appearance of the bouquet in the mirror, and gently turn and bend the stems until you reach a look you love. Our original Eucalyptus is the perfect option for this kind of display, because the bushy, leafy branches will frame the flower stems all the way up, giving a foliage-filled display at every angle.

PLACING YOUR PERFECT ARRANGEMENT

Now you’ve got your blooms looking just how you want them, it’s time to put them in your vase. Place the stems one by one, following the same pattern that you placed them when you planned it out. As you place them, try to create a criss-cross with the stems at the bottom of the vase, which will help to anchor your display, and will also provide an attractive base if you’re using a glass vase. Then, walk away for a few minutes. Come back and look at your flower arrangement from every angle that you’ll be viewing it from on a daily basis. Are there any bare spots? Could a flower be at a different angle? It’s much easier to see these finishing touches with fresh eyes.

A FRAGRANT FINISHING TOUCH

One of the wonderful things about artificial flowers is that they can smell however you want them to. Spray one of our room sprays over the petals, and you’ll have a bouquet that will fill your room with an uplifting scent, day after day. When the fragrance wears off, you don’t have to go out and buy new blooms – simply spritz them again, or switch things up with a different scent!
